1. What can I gain from going abroad?

By immersing in a foreign country and culture you can learn a lot that can’t be found in books. It is particularly beneficial for those whose majors are centered on language, arts, history or culture, as well as the social sciences, since it enables them to learn concepts within the right context.

2. How do I apply to a student exchange program?

If you are interesested, go to the student affairs office of your school and ask for application forms. Your guidance counselor or your academic adviser can tell you what to do next. You may also be asked to take foreign language courses as preparation.

3. How do I choose a school?

To be safe, and to guarantee that the subjects you take will be credited, it’s best to go to a school that has been recognized by the one you are currently attending. Most schools will have a list of partner educational institutions.
